Hairstyles for a Pear Shaped Face

The great mystery.

I cannot tell you how many hours I've spent trying to determine the shape of my face. What a dumb problem to have. Who doesn't know what shape their face is?

THIS GIRL. The one with the wide jaw, and the not-wide hairline. What on Earth is that?
Square? Oval? Round? Pear?
Pear? Seriously, my face is pear shaped?

It is pear shaped, right? Is there another shape (fruit, vegetable, trapazoid) that it is instead?

I now submit, for the general public (ehhhhh) some photos. Please tell me, what shape is my face?

The Center Part.... this is the Only photo I have where it's looking okay. Something needs to change.
Old faithful..... that haircut you always return to in a pinch.

It was difficult finding photos of my facing the camera. I have resorted to the severe side angle, where you will only see half my face. Like so:

"I'm gonna take a selfie"
If I do in fact have a pear shaped face, what hairstyle/haircut would you recommend?

Bangs? Length? Should I just give up and keep it the same? I need a change, please give me some ideas or inspiration here. First step is admitting there is a problem. Second, asking for help. Third step is to encourage readers to say something other than 'You're beautiful the way you are'. Comon people... I'm looking for a change!

Help!

  2. Honestly, I think all your pictures are just beautiful! Your hair, your face, your smile! beautiful!

I *wish* I could help you! I can can't even get a good hair style for my face and I don't even know what type of face I have! I don't go to the salon much, maybe once every 5 years, because every time I do, I hate the results. Sometimes so much I cry!

Good luck finding your perfect style!
