Anniversary Week. Sunset Photos and Family Portraits

Everyone tells you to savor that bite of cake, because that will be the only thing you eat at your wedding.

They were right, because as soon as we were able to get some food on our plates we were pulled away for individual and family photos...

Then the sun decided to steal the show...

We tore our family away from their food for photos (if we couldn't eat, neither could they!)

I really wish either my mom or Tom knew what made her laugh so hard

If you're following along, here's the recap.
Anniversary Week. First Look, and a narration of events
Anniversary Week. Ceremony, Vows and a face-full of Lavender
Anniversary Week. Our Receiving Mob, and an Ode to our Guests
Anniversary Week. Sunset Photos and Family Portraits
Anniversary Week. Toasts, Cake and a Dance-off

    1. Thank you Peggy, and although I'm sitting in jury selection now it's nice to draft some posts with favorite wedding photos. Good reason to reminisce :)

    1. The sun took over the ceremony photos, and everyone with a (non-professional) camera just got tons of sunstreaks. Glad we hired a good photographer :)

  3. Oh you look so pretty! Sunset- and the hour before- is the best time for photos. I specifically planned my ceremony so we would have that late afternoon light for the photos :)

    1. I read that too! I remember planning the dances and toasts for this time, but nothing went according to schedule. Good thing too, because these are my favorite photos of the day :)
