Easy Cinnamon Raisin Bread

Lately I've been "down in the dumps" as my mother likes to say. Headaches and work have kept me from here but today I'm back with something that always makes me happy. Bread. And, this time I decided to make Cinnamon Raisin Bread!

1. Start by making basic white bread dough.
2. During the second 'kneeding', roll it out like pie dough into a sort-of rectangle shape.
3. Melt some butter and slather it on.
4. In a separate bowl, make a mix of half cinnamon and half sugar (to your taste). Sprinkle it over the whole thing.
5. Then poke raisins in it until it gets a bit crowded.
Roll it up, stuff it in the pan, and bake like the original, 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

If you like very cinnamon-y bread (I do!), be sure to slather on more butter and more cinnamon/sugar mix. It will feel like too much, but it isn't since it will be baked into the dough and disappear. I kept it pretty modest since I was planning on sharing with my in-laws (who prefer the 'healthier' option).

So tell me...
Anything to add?
Let me know if you make it and love it!
